About Tonny Meng-Lun Kuo

Tonny Meng-Lun Kuo is a graduate student specializing in learning technology and facilitation at Institute of Learning Sciences of National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan. He is also a research assistant of Ministry of Science and Technology on Learning Sciences studies. He currently serves as a Mandarin teacher trainer at Chinese Language Center, National Chengchi University, focusing on learning technology and application in language teaching. Trained as a language educator, he was a Mandarin teacher at Samantabhadra Institute of Cebu and an EFL teacher in Taiwan before he pursued interdisciplinary study at NTHU. He has great interest in the emerging technologies for learning in meaningful and authentic contexts. His research interests include technology enhanced language learning (TELL), mobile learning, MOOCs/SPOCs and flipped classroom in both K-12 and higher education.

Tonny Meng-Lun Kuo is a Ph.D student specializing in service design and innovation at Institute of Service Science of National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan. He is currently a research assistant on Social Enterprise/Entrepreneurship at Research Center of Social Enterprise, NTHU. He is also a learning scientist, dedicated to promoting emerging learning technologies into authentic learning context in both formal and information learning environment.
